Fast Track Book AB works extremely well with children who have begun to read, but are falling behind because they have difficulty decoding unfamiliar words. It is an abridged version of Dancing Bears Book A and Dancing Bears Book B. Although it contains full instructions for use, it does not include the earlier activities for pre-readers.
Placement: If your pupil can read this sentence word-perfect and without prompting:
Our teacher is waiting for us in the hall.
you should start with Fast Track Book AB. If not, start with Dancing Bears Book A.
Upon completion of Fast Track pupils should continue with Dancing Bears Book C.
